I, Milena Gaudenzi (Work With Milena), am committed to making my website (www.workwithmilena.com) accessible and welcoming to all visitors, including people with disabilities.

WHAT WEB ACCESSIBILITY IS 

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse with the same ease and enjoyment as everyone else. This can be achieved both through the system they use (screen readers, voice commands, keyboard navigation) and by me making sure my site is built in a way that supports those tools.

ACCESSIBILITY ADJUSTMENTS ON THIS SITE

I’ve taken steps to make sure my website follows the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines, which are widely recognized as the standard for accessibility online.

Here’s what I’ve done so far:​

• Used the Wix Accessibility Wizard to find and fix issues.

• Set the language of the site so screen readers can interpret content correctly.

• Ordered content on each page in a logical way.

• Defined clear heading structures to make pages easier to navigate.

• Added alternative text to images wherever possible.

• Chosen color combinations that meet contrast requirements.

• Reduced motion/animations where they might be distracting.

• Ensured documents and downloads are accessible.

I’ll keep reviewing and improving accessibility as my site evolves.
